Make a Little Something Tuesday!

I have been banging on about saving resources and being less wasteful for as long as I can remember.
There are now so many people, particularly artists, who re-use as a major part of their art practice.
Saving resources and creating, how good is that?

One of our Terrific Tuesdays each month will focus on upcycling - taking a mixture of materials and combining them to create something new.

I wonder how many items you recognised in the collages.

Each has a cover from a discarded encyclopaedia as a base.

Then there is 

*fabric- end pieces from samples   * wall paper  *page from a map *postage stamps

*  buttons and jewellery bits * a reused bow * leftover embellishments

These small collages make terrific gifts. It is so easy to choose a subject with a recipient in mind and personalise your creation totally.
