The Gift of Time!

The invitation to our young relatives wedding asked for handmade or recycled.

They both have a very strong commitment to sustainability and living lightly

which I agree so strongly with.

After wracking my frazzled brain, December is the busiest month in my year,

I thought I chose a perfect gift to make.

A handpainted and decorated album to store precious memories 

along with a selection of all the bits and pieces they would need.

I love personalising albums.

Choosing elements to suit perfectly.

It all takes creative time.

Then of course I needed a card.

This is made from a vinyl sample.

Stamping, painting and beading 

surround my beloved butterflies.

A most pleasureable use of time!

I enjoyed considering and writing our wishes for them together for the back.

As Super Star and I approach 4 decades together

some things must be right!

Of course a gift must be wrapped.

Recycled brown paper, coloured and primped.

Messy and inky I surely was, from that play.

Their wedding was lovely.

A wonderful day!

I hope they keep beautiful memories close to their hearts.
