Hello one and all. Thank you for visiting my blog and having a peak into my world where I can at the moment relate to Alice, peering nervously into chasms, stumbling and falling but also being presented with moments of utter delight.
You know one of the reasons I enjoy memory making is exactly as the name says. Look at a photo, reflect on what you see and then explore the emotions and memories that bubble up from the subconscious.
Using the Rondelle range from Prima I got lost in the memories as I created this page for my Guided Scrapping Class this Monday evening. All the elements for this page came from 2 pieces of paper. Pan Pastels were used to soften and blend edges. Surprise, surprise there is no bling!
I did not realise how apt the Tim Holtz quote was until this past week when much that I know has been taken and shaken. Lots that I don't know has been presented for new learning to come.
After an enormously difficult summer for so many I am looking forward to catching up with the scrappers.
These difficulties for me include my computer system which has suffered badly from the storms and other sundry nasties. It is limping along barely functioning :(
If I haven't been to visit as much as I enjoy, I hope you'll understand.
Now I need to take a breath and slide into another unknown.
A topsy turvy world indeed!

Thinking of you, my friend. When's that trip to New Zealand. I think you need it now!
Hi Julie, it has been the most difficult of times for you, but when you make art you do it with such feeling and it really shines through. Your layout is stunning. I love the way you look as though you are leaning on that sentiment. The papers are gorgeous. Take heart, there will be better times to come, it might just take a little while. Hugs, Anne x
Sounds like you need a big cyber hug and this friend is sending one! Creating is a wonderful outlet for our emotions and your page definitely reflects that! Hope things get better quickly!
Stunning layout Julie, the colours and elements reflect your motivations beautifully ... regardless of what mood you find yourself in... your art is always beautiful!
Oh my, this is just as stunning in so many words ... positively breathtaking. You made me smile :)

Totally agree with the others Julie, both your layout and photo are stunning, and what a fabulous result you have achieved with no bling.......I bet for you that it was hard to resist adding all your special touches and embellishment. Your page has come together beautifully and I especially love the hummingbird and quote. xx
